After about 20 mins of deciding what I wanted to do with this blog I have finally decided. Day 5 was all about my parents and Day 10 was about my brother. So I decided to make this post about our grandparents.
My grandma! I love this lady more than life itself. We have such an amazing relationship! I love nothing more than to just go to St George and spend the weekend with her sitting in her back yard in the lawn chairs with our tanning lotion on soaking up the sun and talking about life.
Bob (aka) my grandpa! He was such an incredible man and an amazing husband to my grandma. Bob and my grandma were married when I was very young (18 months) so he has always been my grandpa in my eyes. He was always so proud of his bar that he built in his backyard and everytime I came down to St George that is were he would be sitting waiting and ready to serve you a drink. Whether it be a soda, beer or crown he was always ready:) I have so many stories and great memories with him.
Rest in Peace Bob!!
Oh the good old south! Mississippi is where my Dad is from and where his whole family live. We visit there once a year in July. I love it so much! Its interesting there because we dont call our grandparents grandma and grandpa. We actually call them Papaw and Mamaw. Your probably reading this thinking what the heck how do you even say that. Its just a southern thing:) I love going down there and spending time with them and everyone else there. My Papaw and Mamaw have a house full of antiques! Its so fun to look through them and here what they have to say about them. My all time favorite is my Papaw's coin collection! Its amazing how much one little coin can be worth! Mississippi is so beautiful and very green! I am proud to have a little southern in me. Even though my dad still calls me a city girl:)
Aarons grandma Marie! All I have to say is when I am in my 80's I hope to have the kind of energy she has! Everytime I see her she is always so happy and is always telling stories about all the fun things she does during the day. She loves to take day trips to wendover with her girl friends and play the slots. Her recent fun story about going there was her playing the penny slots and sneezed and hit the wrong button and won $170! Thats just pure luck right there. Aarons mom and I were joking the other day about taking her to Vegas and making her run into a machine and maybe we will just win big:) I never had the pleasure of meeting Maries husband but I hear he was an amazing man!
I am so grateful for the family I have. They are all so amazing and I dont know what I would do without any of them!!
