Craft and decor

I definitely love a good craft session! I am always doing new projects around the house. When we got back from Disneyland I was feeling like my living room needed some color, So I decided to go on a little hunt for new ideas on new decor. First I wanted new pillows and planned on just making them, but when I came across some cute pillows for CHEAP I figured I would end up spending the same amount on fabric, stuffing and all those little odds and ends so I went ahead and bought them. Of course I couldn't stop there! I had to have a new dinning room rug. Yes HAD to have;) We looked at a few different place and last min Aaron suggested RC Willey and my first reaction was oh jeez! 1. That store is my weakness and 2. It is crazy expensive! I knew we were going to go in there and see rugs for $300 to who knows what! Not to mention I am a huge bargain shopper so none of that was in my price range. As we are looking through the rugs I run into one that I loved, but told myself that I needed time to think about it and I would just come back the next day to get it if I have decided that I had to have it. By the next day I knew I had to have it, went in and saw a sold tag on it. I couldn't believe it and was so mad at myself. Aaron decided to take me to another RC Willey's and after several different ones we finally found the same rug and they marked it down to the damaged clearance price of the first one. Brand new rug for $200 off I think that was a steal!

I'm very happy with those changes. I was starting to feel like I lived in a bachelor pad and its amazing what a new rug and pillows can do for a room! So of course I do all that I will most likely need some new wall decor to go with all of it. My Girl friend Jessica and I got together and decided to do a craft night of wall decor. Of course we got the idea off of Pinterest (who doesn't get their ideas of there these days) It was so funny cause I was getting so frustrated with the modge podge cause all it wanted to do was bubble on me this time and I had no idea why! Come to find out after just letting it sit the bubbles will just come out on its own. Who would have thought?! I hung them up and came back a couple hours later and they were gone:) I definitely need to put more decor on my table, but I need to brain storm more on what I need to do.

I can't wait till I can hit the bedroom when I get my new sleep number bed! I have Ideas that I want to do from once again from Pinterest.

 Honestly I would love to be able to paint and do all that other random home renovations, but if you know me well enough you know that I am always changing my mind on things later down the road and getting new ideas. If you ask anyone I am always changing my stuff around every 6 months to a year. I think with paint that would get extremely expensive!! So I think for now I better stick to just doing the random small things around the house cause we all know it would will be different in a few months:)
